How do Ferro Silicon 65, 70 and 75 differ?
SKP’s published grades specify minimum silicon of 65%, 70% and 75%. The 65 grade has an aluminium limit of 3%; the 70 and 75 grades each specify 1.5%. Compare the complete chemistry and size ranges before selecting a grade.
Are Ferro Silicon and Ferro Silicon Magnesium the same product?
No. They have separate specifications in SKP’s range. Ferro Silicon is listed by silicon grade; Ferro Silicon Magnesium is listed by magnesium, silicon, calcium and rare-earth content. Confirm the required product with your process team.
